Laetitia Lesaffre

Dans son exploration du reflet, Laetitia Lesaffre cherche à capturer la part d’ombre et l’intimité de son  sujet.  Elle  donne ainsi à voir une autre interprétation du corps, du portrait. L’œil doit d’abord distinguer des lignes graphiques au service d’une composition dans laquelle la couleur est parfois une force picturale dominante. Dans cette exploration, l'artiste ne procède à aucun traitement numérique ni retouche pour obtenir cet effet presque abstrait et énigmatique.

In her exploration of reflection, Laetitia Lesaffre seeks to capture the dark side and the intimacy of her subject. She thus reveals another  interpretation of the body, of the portrait. The eye must first distinguish graphic lines serving a composition in which the color is sometimes a dominant pictorial force. In this exploration, the artist does not perform any digital processing or adjustments to achieve this almost abstract and enigmatic effect.
